Providence Public School District (PPSD) is seeking dependable, flexible, and student-centered individuals to join our team as Per Diem Non-Certified Substitute Teachers.

 

PPSD serves approximately 22,000 students across 37 elementary, middle, and high schools. Our students and families speak more than 75 languages and represent 91 countries of origin, creating a rich and diverse learning community.

 

Per Diem Non-Certified Substitute Teachers provide instructional support in the District's hard-to-fill classrooms, ensuring students continue to receive a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment when their regular teacher is absent. These assignments are critical to maintaining continuity of instruction and supporting student success.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:  Works under the general supervision of the building principal or his/her/their designee with some latitude for the exercise of independent judgement; work is reviewed usually upon completion for conformance to established policies, rules regulations and procedures
